This unique home was originally an old Watermill, today carefully renovated into a detached house. It is located in the quiet and charming neighborhood of El Mundillo, on the outskirts of the picturesque town of Santa Lucía de Tirajana, and about 40 minutes by car from Vecindario.

Set on a rustic and welcoming style, the property sits on a 316 m² plot and is spread over three floors of 47 m² each, all open-plan. It also features a pleasant outdoor space—partly covered with artificial grass—ideal for leisure and relaxation, with a terrace, a barbecue area, and planted beds with olive trees, cacti, and succulents.

The House-Mill, which previously was used for holiday rentals, is fully furnished and equipped, respecting traditional Canarian architecture while incorporating modern comforts.

On the upper floor there is the bedroom, with a large double bed (1.80 × 2.00 m), a small sitting area, and a romantic full bathroom with an antique-style bathtub, as well as air conditioning. From this room you access a lovely covered Canarian balcony with artificial grass, where you can enjoy spectacular views of the palm grove and the Barranco de las Tirajanas.

On the ground floor, the living room and kitchen are integrated into the same space, with a sofa and a dining table with chairs. The beautiful suspended wooden staircase and the carefully curated rustic décor stand out; it preserves the mill’s original fixtures and fittings, including the original hopper and part of its machinery, restored in detail.

The lower level houses the wheel with spoons that moved with the falling water and turned the millstones. This space has been used to create a cozy sitting area with a sofa bed, a table, and chairs.

Outside, next to the entrance, there is a terrace with cane furniture, and on a lower level, a built-in barbecue with a table and wooden benches—perfect for enjoying the outdoors.

The Molino de Cándido Rubio, as this property is historically known, has significant ethnographic value and forms part of the Route of the Watermills of the Barranco de Tirajana, giving it notable historical and cultural interest.

The home has no direct car access. It is possible to arrive to drop off groceries or passengers at about 100 m, and the private parking is located about 300 m downhill. The walk from the parking area to the house takes about five minutes.

A well-cared-for, well-behaved pet is allowed.
The home is ideal for one to two people who enjoy a quiet lifestyle and being in touch with nature, or as a second residence for weekend getaways.

In the area there is internet connection, although not fiber optic. Available for rental from 15 September 2026. Visits can be arranged before then.
