This unique property was originally an old water mill, now carefully restored as a detached house. It is located in the peaceful, charming neighbourhood of El Mundillo, on the outskirts of the picturesque village of Santa Lucía de Tirajana, about a 40-minute drive from Vecindario.

The property, with its rustic, welcoming style, sits on a 316 m² plot and is spread over three open-plan floors of 47 m² each. It also has a pleasant outdoor area —partly covered with artificial grass— ideal for leisure and relaxation, with a terrace, barbecue area and flower beds planted with olive trees, cacti and succulents.

The Mill House, previously used for holiday rentals, is fully furnished and equipped. It retains traditional Canarian architecture while incorporating modern comforts.

The upper floor houses the bedroom, with a large double bed (1.80 × 2.00 m), a small sitting area and a romantic full bathroom with an antique-style bathtub, as well as air conditioning. From this room, you can access a lovely Canarian balcony covered with artificial grass, offering spectacular views of the palm grove and the Barranco de las Tirajanas ravine.

The living room and kitchen share an open-plan space on the ground floor, furnished with a sofa, dining table and chairs. Features include a beautiful suspended wooden staircase and carefully chosen rustic décor, which preserves the mill’s original equipment, including the original hopper and some of its machinery, restored in detail.

The lower level houses the wheel with paddles, which was powered by falling water and turned the millstones. This space has been put to use as a cosy sitting area with a sofa bed, table and chairs.

Outside, next to the entrance, there is a terrace with cane furniture and, on a lower level, a built-in barbecue with a wooden table and benches, perfect for enjoying the fresh air.

Historically known as the Molino de Cándido Rubio, this property is of great ethnographic value and forms part of the Barranco de Tirajana Water Mill Route, giving it considerable historical and cultural significance.

The house is not directly accessible by car. You can drive to within about 100 m to drop off shopping or passengers, and private parking is about 300 m downhill. The walk from the parking area to the house takes around five minutes.

One well-cared-for, well-behaved pet is permitted.
The property is ideal for one or two people who enjoy a peaceful lifestyle in close contact with nature, or as a second home for weekend getaways.

Internet is available in the area, but there is no fibre-optic connection.
Available for seasonal rental. Viewings can be arranged before the move-in date. To confirm the booking and rental agreement, payment is required for one month’s rent, one month’s rent as a security deposit, and the applicable agency fees.
