Spain international Fernando Llorente has left Swansea, signing with Tottenham Hotspur until 2019 for an undisclosed fee.
Premier League champions Chelsea had also allegedly been close to a reported £15m deal for the 32-year-old, who played under Blues boss Antonio Conte at Juventus. But the Spaniard has joined Spurs instead, becoming the club's fifth addition of the transfer window.
Llorente, has been capped 24 times for Spain, scored seven international goals and was a member of the 2010 World Cup-winning side.
He played at Juventus between 2013 and 2015, scoring 27 goals in 92 matches. After a short spell with Sevilla he signed for Swansea in August 2016 and scored 15 goals as the club avoided relegation last season.
As a replacement for Llorente, Swansea have signed the Ivory Coast's Wilfried Bony from Manchester City.
