A MAN has been fined for taking a photograph of a speed trap on the AP-7 and uploading it onto social media.
Catalunya's military police, the Mossos d'Esquadra, saw the 23-year-old on the roof of a service station in Garrigàs (Girona province) a week ago.
Officers were at the roadside watching for speeding drivers.
Once they realised they had been published on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, they were able to identify the man with the camera.
He could be fined between €601 and €30,000 for a 'serious breach' of the Law of Public Security, which bans anyone from taking pictures or videos of the police in the course of duty.
