An unknown individual had succeeded in passing for Daddy Yankee and asking hotel employees to open the safe in the bedroom.
Not suspecting they were being duped by an imposter, staff complied, and the 'fake' Daddy Yankee cleared it out.
Reception and the police were alerted and officers scanned the CCTV cameras, but they were only able to identify the employees who had gone into the suite to open the safe.
The thief apparently left no traces, not even fingerprints.
